AFK – INCORRECT INFORMATOIN ABOUT Q4 DIVIDEND

By mistake, the account operator (issuer) of Arendal Fossekompani ASA ("AFK"), DNB Verdipapirservice, today sent out an email to the shareholders of AFK relating to the dividend for the fourth quarter of 2022. The email message did not include any information about the size of a possible dividend, but shareholders who logged into their investor accounts could for a short period find information stating that the dividend for the fourth quarter of 2022 would be NOK 0.95 per share. Please note that the board of directors of AFK has not made any decision regarding dividends for the fourth quarter of 2022. The dividend for the fourth quarter of 2022 will be considered at a board meeting of AFK after close of trading today, and any dividend decision will be communicated as part of the Q4 financial statements before start of trading tomorrow."
