Arena REIT (ASX: ARF) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Arena REIT (‘ARF’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of ARF, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 23 May 2019 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Arena REIT - Request for trading halt

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Arena REIT Management Limited ACN 600 069 761 in its capacity as responsible entity of Arena REIT No 1 ARSN 106 891 641 and Arena REIT No 2 ARSN 101 067 878 and Arena REIT Limited ACN 602 365 186 (ASX Code: ARF) (together, Arena REIT ) requests a trading halt of Arena REIT stapled securities effective from the commencement of trading today, Tuesday 21 May 2019.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Arena REIT provides the following information to ASX:

• (a) the trading halt is sought pending an announcement by Arena REIT in relation to a capital raising comprising a fully underwritten institutional placement. The trading halt is necessary to prevent trading taking place on an uninformed basis and to allow the institutional placement to take place in an orderly manner;

• (b) Arena REIT requests the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement to the market concerning the outcome of the institutional placement and the commencement of trading on Wednesday 22 May 2019; and

• (c) Arena REIT is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market or ASX about the trading halt.
