archTIS secures the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department as First Beta Client of Kojensi Gov

  • The Australian Government’s Attorney General’s Department to be the first beta client for the Kojensi Gov technology platform release

  • Beta release to test market readiness of the new cloud-based version of Kojensi Gov before commercial release

  • Agreement with Attorney General’s Department demonstrates a clear market need for the new technology platform

  • archTIS in discussions with other government agencies and commercial partners to expand the beta release program

  • Kojensi Gov on track for commercial launch to the market in Q1 2019

archTIS Limited (ASX:AR9, archTIS or the Company) is delighted to announce that the Australian Government’s Attorney General’s Department has signed an agreement to be the first beta client for the release of Kojensi Gov.

Kojensi Gov is part of archTIS’ next generation suite of secure information sharing and collaboration products. The Kojensi Gov technology platform has been built on archTIS’ unmatched secure information sharing technology platform that is currently being used by the Australian Department of Defence.

After successful development and internal testing of the product, archTIS will launch a beta release of Kojensi Gov for market readiness testing with select government agencies and commercial organisations.

The first public demonstration of Kojensi Gov was at The Technology in Government Conference in Canberra on 7 August 2018. Following the tremendous response from participants at the conference, and leveraging an extensive network of government relationships, archTIS has secured the Attorney General’s Department to be the first beta client.

The Beta Program will commence in December 2018 and is expected to continue for approximately 12 weeks. The objective of the Beta Program is to enable organisations to provide feedback on the usability of the interface and the utility of Kojensi Gov features for securely sharing classified information, prior to its commercial release in early 2019 and the onboarding of paying subscribers.

The Australian Government’s Attorney General’s Department is pivotal to delivering programs and policies to Australia's law and justice framework. Securing the Department as a foundation client for the beta phase provides key recognition for the reputation and capability of the archTIS technology. Demand from government and industry is very strong and demonstrates the potential for Kojensi Gov to enable government interagency and industry collaboration and information sharing at the PROTECTED classification.

Kojensi Gov has a unique security model that enables government agencies to share and collaborate on their information whilst meeting regulatory, security and sovereign compliance requirements for up to PROTECTED classified information.

This will enable government agencies to digitally transform their services to increase productivity and service delivery. Kojensi Gov will be hosted on the Vault Secure Government Cloud re-enforcing the strategic benefits of the recently announced strategic partnership with Vault Systems (as announced 24 September 2018).

Managing Director, Daniel Lai said:

“We have been overwhelmed by the response we have received from Government Agencies and the interest in Kojensi Gov. I am delighted that the Attorney General’s Department has agreed to be a beta client and am looking forward to working closely with them. We are in discussions with other organisations interested in participating in the beta program and expect there will be further announcements in the near future.”
