REQUEST TO CALL A GENERAL MEETING

Archer Exploration Limited (ASX code: AXE) advises that it has received the attached request today from its largest shareholder, Raffles Equities Limited (Raffles), 18.2%, to call a General Meeting of Shareholders to consider a request by Raffles to appoint Mr. John Dawkins a Director of the Company.

The Company has been considering the request to appoint Mr. Dawkins since first being approached by Raffles to appoint a Director. Due diligence, including the existing Board members meeting Mr. Dawkins has been ongoing. The Company advised Raffles that the process was being undertaken in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance and that a decision would be made shortly.

The Company intends to make a further announcement on Wednesday 15 April following the next scheduled board meeting.
