APPOINTMENT OF EXPERIENCED GEOLOGIST TO ADVANCE SA MANGANESE AND IRON PROJECT

The Board of Archer Exploration Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Wade Bollenhagen BSc.(Hons) as Exploration Manager (see picture below). Mr Bollenhagen is a geologist with 14 years industry experience in gold, base metals and iron ore exploration in Australia and overseas.

Prior to joining Archer Exploration, Mr Bollenhagen was Chief Geologist for UraniumSA Limited and provided valuable geological and business development advice to Archer by way of the Services Agreement between Archer Exploration and UraniumSA.

The appointment of Mr Bollenhagen as Exploration Manager is consistent with the Company’s aim of expanding its own in-house expertise as described in the Company’s prospectus.

Archer Exploration Chairman Tom Phillips said he was delighted with the appointment of Mr Bollenhagen who would help to expedite exploration at the Company’s iron and manganese Carrappee Hill Project in South Australia.

“Independent technical due diligence has identified manganese occurrences over a strike length in excess of 8km with an estimated thickness of between 30m to 100m at our Carrappee Hill Project,” Mr Phillips said.

“Developing the manganese and iron potential of Carrappee Hill is a key priority as we plan to commence comprehensive field work on the tenement.”

“We believe there is scope to increase the manganese and iron mineralisation target considerably and to this end, we look forward to utilising Wade’s expertise working for OneSteel at its Eyre Peninsula iron ore mines to fast-track delineation of the manganese and iron mineralisation and take this project forward.”

Archer Exploration has prepared a technical report that identified abundant historical data, compiled by WMC, CRA and others, relating to manganese and iron mineralisation at the Carrappee Hill Project, including well documented drilling information.
