On March 6, 2012, Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (“ADM”) announced that John D. Rice, Vice Chairman, has elected to retire and that David J. Smith, Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel, has announced his intention to retire later this year. A copy of the press release announcing these retirements is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
