Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 23, 2010, Archer-Daniels-Midland Company announced that it has increased the maximum aggregate principal amount of the debentures subject to its previously announced cash tender offers from $400 million to $500 million. ADM also announced the principal amount tendered and the percent of outstanding principal amount tendered to date for each series of debentures subject to the tender offers as of 5:00 p.m., New York City time, February 22, 2010, the early tender time. A copy of a press release dated February 23, 2010 related to the foregoing information is filed with this Current Report as Exhibit 99.1.
