ARCADIS AQUMEN EXTENDS FACILITY MANAGEMENT CONTRACT WITH SABIC

July 1, 2010 – ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, announced today that ARCADIS AQUMEN FACILITY MANAGEMENT (AAFM) has extended its facility management contract with SABIC. AAFM is a joint venture with the English Carillion. The extension covers a period of 3+1 years commencing back in January 2010. Emphasis will be on further standardization of services in the new contract without effecting quality. The entire value of the contract is €25 million. Additional financial details are not disclosed.

AAFM carries out facility management services for a number of office locations of SABIC. The activities encompass purchasing, building maintenance management, catering, cleaning, security, logistic services and transport of persons. The contract also covers cost savings targets which must be realised in conjunction with AAFM.
