LUC HELLEMANS APPOINTED MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR ARCADIS IN BELGIUM

July 2, 2012 – ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the leading international consultancy, design, engineering and management services company, announced today that Luc Hellemans (41) has recently been appointed to the position of Managing Director for ARCADIS in Belgium. He will succeed Theo Dilissen who recently left the company. Luc Hellemans will also become a member of the ARCADIS Leadership Council (ALC) and its European Management Team (EMT).

Luc Hellemans joined ARCADIS in March 2000 and held several leadership positions including Project Director of the Master Plan Antwerp project and Commercial Director for the Public Sector for ARCADIS in Belgium. He was also a member of the board of the Bellevue Foundation, representing employee interests at the highest decision making level within ARCADIS. In December 2007, he became the Business Unit Director Infrastructure for ARCADIS in Belgium a position he held until late 2011. After a short period as COO with Heijmans Van Den Berg he is now returning as the Managing Director of ARCADIS in Belgium.
