Arco (TN, Italy), 25th January 2018 – Aquafil announces that in the early hours of this morning a fire has risen in the Oroslavje production plant in Croatia. Thanks to the efficiency of the protection systems in place and fire-fighting procedures, the flames have been contained to the storage rooms, saving the production lines and the machinery that will resume normal production activities in a few days.
The accident did not involve people and caused only the loss of raw materials and products stored in the warehouse. The Company estimates that its insurance covers adequately the losses and does not expect any future negative impact on its assets.
