Block Listing Application

Microgen plc (LSE: MCGN), a leading provider of business critical software and services, provides notification that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the block listing for general business purposes of 1,632,500 ordinary shares of 6 3/7 pence each, to be admitted to the Official List of the UKLA and to the London Stock Exchange for the Shares to be admitted to trading on its main market.

The purpose of the block listing is to satisfy options awarded under:

(i) the Microgen Plc Performance Share Plan 2006 (1,532,500 ordinary shares); and

(ii) the Microgen Plc Save As You Earn Scheme 2016 and International Sharesave Scheme 2016 (100,000 ordinary shares).

It is expected that admission will become effective on 7 September 2018. Any shares will, when issued, rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the company.
