Microgen plc ("Microgen" or the "Company")

Application for Block Listing

The Company announces that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for a block listing totalling 120,301 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company. These shares will be allotted and issued in due course upon the exercise of options pursuant to the Microgen plc Performance Share Plan 2006 and the Microgen plc Company Share Option Plan 2006. These shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company. It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the new ordinary shares will commence on 13 October 2014.
