Aperam announces the publication of the Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings of shareholders

Luxembourg, 8 April 2014 - Aperam announces the publication of the convening notice for its Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings of shareholders, which will be held on Thursday 8 May 2014 at 15.00 p.m.local time at 24-26, boulevard d'Avranches, L-1160 Luxembourg, Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. The Annual General Meeting of shareholders will be immediately followed by the Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders.

Following the implementation of the EU Shareholders' Rights Directive into Luxembourg law, the blocking certificate requirement was removed. The Aperam shareholders entitled to vote at the General Meetings will

be those who are shareholders on the record date of 24 April 2014 at midnight (24:00 hours) Central European Time.

The convening notice, the annual report 2013, the proposed amendments to the articles of association and all other meeting documentation are available on Aperam's website www.aperam.com under "Investors & shareholders" - "Shareholders' Meetings" - "8 May 2014 - Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings of Shareholders".
