APT Pipelines Limited acquires an interest in HDF

Hastings Funds Management Limited (Hastings), as Responsible Entity for HDF, conducts regular analysis of the underlying beneficial ownership of HDF securities.

In the most recent analysis based on the share register as at 15 December 2009, Hastings has been advised that APT Pipelines Limited had a relevant interest of approximately 16,000,000 units in HDF, approximately 3.25 per cent of issued capital. APT Pipelines Limited is a subsidiary of the APA Group.

Hastings is not aware of APA Group’s intentions in relation to its stake and will keep the market informed of any developments.
