APA GROUP (ASX: APA) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of APA GROUP (‘APA’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of APA, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 25 August 2023 or when the announcement is released to the market.

APA Group (ASX: APA) – Request for trading halt

APA Group ( APA ) requests a trading halt in respect of its stapled securities (ASX: APA) pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, prior to the commencement of trading today.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, APA provides the following information:

• �� The trading halt is necessary as APA expects to make an announcement to the ASX in connection with an equity capital raising comprising an institutional placement and security purchase plan.

• �� APA requests that the trading halt continue until the earlier of APA releasing an announcement in relation to completion of the institutional placement, or until the open of trading on 25 August 2023.

• �� APA expects that the trading halt will be ended by it making an announcement to the ASX in relation to the completion of the institutional placement.

• �� APA is not aware of any reasons why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
