Alltype Engineering awarded $8M in New Contracts, including turnkey multidiscipline gas offtake, metering facility works for APA Group and Midwest mining operations

Highlights

• WestStar subsidiary Alltype awarded ~$5M of contracts in gas transmission, largely from APA Group:

• APA Group – Beyondie Gas Lateral Offtake and Metering Station

• APA Group – Lakeway SO4 Potash Gas Lateral Offtake and Metering Project

• APA Group – Karlawinda Capricorn Metals Gas Lateral Offtake and Metering Project

• APA Group – Infrastructure Electrical and Instrumentation works

• McConnell Dowell – Murrin Loop Gas lateral end of line facilities

• Primero Group – Kalium Lakes Gas Lateral Metering Station

• Alltype was also awarded a $1M maintenance scope contract by the Water Corporation as part of an Infrastructure Upgrade Project

• As a general update, was awarded its first contract with Newmont Mining and gained repeat work across its client portfolio

WestStar Industrial Limited (Company or WestStar) (ASX: WSI), an Australian industrial services company providing engineering, construction and mining services to the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors; is pleased to advise its engineering construction contracting business Alltype Engineering (Alltype) has been awarded contracts to a total value of ~$8M across multiple clients and projects, including $5M of contracts in gas transmission (predominantly with APA Group) and a circa $1M contract on the Water Corporation’s Infrastructure Upgrade Project with the balance from its existing diverse client base.

The Contracts further bolster and contribute to the WestStar FY2021 contracted order book.

APA Group (APA) has contracted Alltype to deliver multiple gas offtake and metering facility projects throughout the Midwest region of Western Australia. These turnkey multidiscipline projects involve civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation scopes, both workshop and site, with remote area working conditions and logistics and eight off-workshop fabricated gas skids to be completed off site. These newly awarded contracts for Alltype continue to demonstrate its strength and reliability in working successfully with APA and the Australian gas industry, including both upstream and downstream projects. Furthermore, having fabricated, assembled and FAT tested over 20 modularised gas skid process packages in the last two years, Alltype continue to leverage off this experience and knowhow to fast track aggressive timeline projects ~~willw~~ ith full supply chain control. Alltype have commenced the works which are planned to be completed by Q1, 2021.

Water Corporation – Infrastructure Upgrade Project $1M

This newly awarded contract with the Water Corporation comes on the back of recent short notice site support works on infrastructure assets direct for Water Corporation. Alltype has multiple current works on various Water Corporation assets and continues to be a key supply chain partner in this area, both indirectly and directly and with a growing presence in the industry.

Newmont Mining – Boddington Gold Mine

Alltype was awarded its first contract for Newmont Mining at the Boddington Gold Mine with an aggressive timeline for completion of urgent fabricated plate and piping componentry for a shutdown which was achieved. Balance of works continue to be completed.

Other works:

In addition to the above, Alltype continues to receive incremental and repeat orders for site and workshop services, with multiple awards within the mining sector and petrochemicals sector, both end user direct and through established service providers or Tier One contractors. Alltype Engineering also continues to provide goods and services for the three major iron ore developments in the Pilbara, being BHP South Flank, Rio Tinto Koodaideri and FMG Iron Bridge,

Alltype is well positioned for FY2021, now having secured ~$20M of new contract awards.

Outlook

WestStar Industrial; through its subsidiaries Alltype and SIMPEC, is well positioned for FY2021 having now secured ~$36M of new contract awards in the first six months of the financial year.

Tendering and proposals across the group remains strong, with over $300M of new tenders received and being worked on. Several of the submissions were for new clients within the mining and infrastructure, energy sectors. The results of increased activity and tendering is now delivering positive outcomes for the business.
