ARENA FUNDING FOR THE EMU DOWNS SOLAR PROJECT

Australia’s largest natural gas infrastructure business, APA Group (ASX:APA), notes the announcement by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (“ARENA”) that it has selected a 20MW Emu Downs Solar Project (the “Project”) as part of its Large Scale Solar funding program.

The ARENA funding of $5.5 million is subject to APA finalising commercial agreements for this Project which will be located adjacent to, and share infrastructure with, APA’s existing Emu Downs Wind Farm.

APA’s project is one of 12 selected by ARENA for funding totalling $91.7 million by way of a competitive process and is the only West Australian project selected.
