ASX RELEASE
10 September 2009
APA completes $1.03 billion syndicated bank facility
Further to its announcement of 24 August 2009, Australia’s largest natural gas infrastructure business APA Group (ASX:APA) is pleased to announce that it has completed the $1.03 billion syndicated bank facility after signing agreements with three local and nine offshore banking groups.
APA Managing Director Mick McCormack said the syndication was received enthusiastically and was oversubscribed.
“The completion of this facility, in what has been a difficult market, is testimony to the credit quality of APA and is a very significant success,” he said.
“A total of $1.365 billion in facilities has now been finalised since July this year.”
The new syndicated bank facility comprises equal‐sized tranches, maturing in July 2011 and July 2013 respectively, and completes the refinancing of all of APA’s debt maturity obligations until July 2011.
