ASX RELEASE

SECURITY PURCHASE PLAN (SPP) RESULTS

APA Group (APA) is pleased to announce that following completion of the SPP, APA has today issued 11,704,821 new securities to securityholders, raising $30.3million. APA now has 489,941,242 stapled securities on issue. The issue price under the SPP was $2.5935 per security.

As stated, APA intends to use the capital raised through the SPP to fund ongoing growth opportunities in its gas infrastructure business across Australia.

New securities issued under the SPP will rank equally with existing securities and will qualify for the interim distribution payable for the six months ending 31 December 2008, expected to be paid in March 2009.

As previously advised, in determining the tax cost base for an Australian Pipeline Trust (APT) unit and an APT Investment Trust (APTIT) unit, securityholders should consider allocating 70.8% of the issue price to an APT unit and 29.2% of the issue price to an APTIT unit.
