NEW APA BOARD DIRECTOR
APA Group (ASX: APA) announces the appointment of Rhoda Phillippo as an independent Non-executive Director to the Board of Australian Pipeline Limited ( APL ) with effect from 1 June 2020.
APL is the responsible entity of Australian Pipeline Trust and APT Investment Trust that together comprise APA Group.
Michael Fraser, Chairman of APA Group said, “I am pleased to welcome Rhoda Phillippo to APL’s Board. Rhoda is a highly experienced Executive and Non-executive Director having had a diverse career across energy, telecommunications and IT. Her experience and skills in these areas will complement those of our existing Directors and strengthen the Board.”
Rhoda is currently a Non-executive Director with Pacific Hydro and Datacom, and an alternate director for the Perth Airport on behalf of the Future Fund. Qualified in human resources and science, Rhoda spent much of her career in the telecommunications industry in the United Kingdom and New Zealand in senior management positions before then joining Optimation as Chief Executive Officer. Ms Phillippo later joined HRL Morrison & Co and during this time was Managing Director of Lumo Energy for two years.
