RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

APA Group (ASX:APA) announced today that Muri Muhammad had given notice of his resignation, with effect from 24 October 2012, as a director of Australian Pipeline Limited, the responsible entity of Australian Pipeline Trust and APT Investment Trust that together comprise APA Group.

Muri Muhammad was appointed to the Board in 2000 by Petronas, exercising a right it was entitled to under the company’s constitution while it held 10% or more of the securities in APA Group. Petronas ceased to have that right when it sold its holding in APA Group on 2 May 2012.

APA Group Chairman Len Bleasel AM paid tribute to Muri Muhammad, “Muri has served on the APA Group Board since listing in 2000, bringing to the Board a great wealth of experience in upstream oil and gas businesses and helping to strengthen the group’s relationship with Petronas”.

The Board wishes to record its appreciation for Muri Muhammad’s contribution as a director.
