2020 APA Group Annual Meeting: 10:00am Thursday 22 October 2020 To be held as a virtual/online meeting
Dear Securityholder
Safety is a core value at APA Group; it underpins every step of our business operations and community engagement. The potential health risks and the government restrictions in response to the coronavirus pandemic mean that your Board has decided it will not be possible to host Securityholders and members of the public in person at the Annual Meeting this year. Consistent with the approach adopted by many other ASX listed companies, APA Group will hold its 2020 Annual Meeting “virtually”, on 22 October 2020. Securityholders will be able to participate in the meeting using an online meeting platform or via telephone.
Your Board recognises that the Annual Meeting is an important event on the APA Group calendar. Even though it will not be possible to physically meet this year, we remain committed to providing our Securityholders with the opportunity to hear about the performance of the business for the financial year, as well as the opportunity to ask questions and vote on items of business as you would at a physical meeting. Where Securityholders are not able to attend the virtual meeting themselves, they will also be able to appoint a proxy to attend the meeting on their behalf.
Further details on how to participate in the 2020 Annual Meeting will be published on APA Group’s website at www.apa.com.au/investors/annual-meeting, and will also be provided with your Notice of Meeting which will be sent out in September 2020.
In the meantime, your Board thanks you for your understanding in these challenging times. We look forward to welcoming you to our virtual Annual Meeting in October.
