A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S has successfully placed USD bonds
A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S today successfully launched and priced its inaugural
USD bond offering. The transaction includes a USD 750 million bond due in
September 2019 and a USD 500 million bond due in September 2024, with coupons
of 2.55% and 3.75% respectively.
The transaction is A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S’ first USD bond offering and both
tranches are expected to be rated BBB+ by S&P and Baa1 by Moody’s. The net
proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Underwriters were Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Citigroup, J.P.
Morgan, and RBS.
