A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S - Change of Management

This is to inform that at the Annual General Meeting today in A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S, Sir John Bond, Mr Lars Pallesen and Mr John Axel Poulsen were elected as new members of the Board of Directors of A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S. At the same time, Mr Svend-Aage Nielsen and Mr Henrik Lorensen Solmer resigned as nominee Directors.

Sir John Bond is chairman of Vodafone Group Plc. He also holds executive functions in Ford Motor Company, Shui On Land Limited, International Advisory Board of Mitsubishi Corporation, China Development Forum and Shanghai's International Business Leader's Advisory Council.

Mr Lars Pallesen is Rector at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He is also chairman of The Royal Danish Theatre and Nordic Five Tech and member of The Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.

Mr John Axel Poulsen is Captain in A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S.
