AO World plc announces that Jacqueline de Rojas, Non-Executive Director and member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees has decided to step down from the Board with immediate effect. 

Jacqueline has in recent years increasingly dedicated her time to addressing the UK skills shortage in technology and has accordingly decided to re-balance her portfolio to give greater time and focus to this issue. As such, Jacqueline has accepted a position as Non-executive Director at FDM Group (Holdings) plc, a global professional services provider with a focus on Information Technology.

A selection process for an additional Non-Executive Director has commenced in accordance with UK Corporate Governance Code recommendations.  Appointments to the committee positions vacated by Jacqueline de Rojas will be made in due course.
