Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited 7.30% Medium Term Notes due 14 August 2017 and Floating Rate Medium Term Notes due 14 August 2017

SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION and FINAL REMOVAL OF EXPIRED CLASS FROM QUOTATION

The 7.30% Medium Term Notes due 14 August 2017 and Floating Rate Medium Term Notes due 14 August 2017 (the “Notes”) of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited will be suspended from quotation from the close of business today, Wednesday 19 September 2012, in accordance with listing rule 17.2 following the redemption of the Notes on 14 August 2012.

The Notes will be finally removed from official quotation with effect from Thursday, 20 September 2012.
