Disclosure regarding shareholdings in various ASX listed entities
Reference is made to previous announcements made by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited ( ANZ ) regarding its interests in various ASX listed entities arising under transactions entered into pursuant to Australian Master Securities Lending Agreements with Opes Prime Stockbroking Limited and Leveraged Capital Pty Ltd (the Opes Prime AMSLAs ).
The details of ANZ's interests in shares in the companies referred to in the schedule to the announcement that was provided to the ASX on 17 April 2008 (in terms of both numbers and percentages), as further updated by the subsequent announcements provided to the ASX on 21 and 22 April, remain unchanged as at close of trading on 22 April 2008.
The interests identified in the schedule may include shares which have been sold by the ANZ Group (as part of the Disposal Programme referred to in earlier announcements) pursuant to transactions which had not settled as at close of trading on 22 April 2008.
