Notice of ceasing to be a substantial holder – Comtel Corporation Limited

Reference is made to the announcement made by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited ( ANZ ) on 12 May 2008 regarding its interests in various ASX listed entities arising under transactions entered into pursuant to Australian Master Securities Lending Agreements.

As indicated in that announcement, although there is some uncertainty as to whether ANZ is under a legal obligation to do so, ANZ intends to lodge substantial holding notices in relation to relevant listed entities.

We attach a notice of ceasing to be a substantial holder with respect to Comtel Corporation Limited.

DIRECTIONS

• Note A: ANZ has acquired relevant interests in the securities referred to in the adjacent columns. The consideration referred to in the adjacent column represents the cash collateral provided by ANZ in connection with the 'borrowing' of the securities by ANZ under an Australian Master Securities Lending Agreement. The cash collateral was determined by applying ANZ's loan to value ratio for the relevant class of securities to the value of the relevant parcel of securities, as determined in accordance with the agreement under which the securities were 'borrowed' by ANZ.

	collateral.
