ANZ Group Holdings Limited (ASX: ANZ) – Admission and Quotation
Description
Following lodgement with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission of the court orders approving Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited’s scheme of arrangement with its shareholders that will establish ANZ Group Holdings Limited as the new head entity of the ANZ Group (‘Scheme’), ANZ Group Holdings Limited is expected to be admitted to the Official List of ASX later today, Tuesday, 20 December 2022.
It is anticipated that the securities of ANZ Group Holdings Limited will commence quotation at 10:00am AEDT (+/- 15 seconds) on Wednesday, 21 December 2022 initially on a deferred settlement basis . A detailed indicative timetable is included on the following page.
No funds were raised by ANZ Group Holdings Limited in conjunction with its listing on ASX.
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ASX: AN3) Change of Admission Category
Following the Scheme becoming effective, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited will remain admitted to the Official List and its listing category will be changed from ASX Listing to ASX Debt Listing with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 21 December 2022 in order to continue the quotation on the ASX of five series of Capital Notes and ten series of wholesale debt securities (‘together, the Notes’). Details of the Notes and change in ASX codes are in the section headed ‘Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited Notes’ on page 3.
