GRAINCORP ANNOUNCES FINALISATION OF INVENTORY AND WORKING CAPITAL FUNDING AGREEMENTS

GrainCorp has successfully finalised a series of agreements with Rabobank Australia, ANZ and the National Australia Bank that secures working capital and inventory finance requirements for 2009.

The working capital and inventory financing facilities can be used by GrainCorp’s cash trading desk to accumulate grain for the domestic market and by Hunter Grain[1] for soybean meal trading.

The working capital and inventory financing facilities can also be used for the accumulation of wheat, barley, sorghum, pulses and oilseed for export to international customers[2] .

The finance available for the operation of GrainCorp Pools is separate to the working capital and inventory finance facilities. The grain pooling finance is off balance sheet and is non-recourse to the GrainCorp group of companies.
