Retirement of ANZ Director – Ian Macfarlane

ANZ today announced that having served almost ten years on the ANZ Board, Ian Macfarlane will retire as a Non-Executive Director at the conclusion of the 2016 Annual General Meeting being held today.

Chairman of the Board, David Gonski commented: “Ian has served as a Non-Executive Director with great distinction since he joined the Board in February 2007. This included very ably chairing the Board Risk Committee over a period of great regulatory change and increased focus.

“Ian has given significant service to ANZ and we thank him for his contribution,” Mr Gonski said.
