Senior appointments at ANZ
ANZ today announced the following senior appointments reporting to Mike Smith, Chief Executive Officer.

Chris Page has been appointed Chief Risk Officer replacing David Stephen who is leaving ANZ. Mr Page has been Head of Risk Asia Pacific having joined ANZ in January 2008 after 34 years with HSBC where he was Chief Credit Officer, Asia Pacific with responsibility for risk management in more than 20 countries.

Alex Thursby has been appointed acting Group Managing Director Institutional Division while an executive search is undertaken for the role. He replaces Peter Hodgson who is also leaving ANZ. Mr Thursby’s role is in addition to his responsibilities as Group Managing Director Asia Pacific.
The changes are effective immediately.
