Australian biotech company Anteo appoints USA based VP Scientific Affairs

• Experienced executive in Life Sciences and IVD

• Joins Anteo directly from a large IVD player

• Bench to boardroom skills augment Anteo’s commercialisation capability

18 August 2014: Anteo Diagnostics Limited (ASX: ADO) (“Anteo”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Josh Soldo as VP Scientific Affairs, based in the United States.

Josh is a global scientific affairs executive with more than 15 years experience at leading In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) companies. He has a proven track record building business relationships and selling technology in the Life Sciences and IVD markets. He is a creative and strategic thinker. Josh is well equipped to assist in the delivery winning solutions and in forging new partnerships and collaborations for Anteo.

He is a highly regarded professional and his appointment marks an important step in the international commercialisation of our flagship product, Mix&Go, particularly in the US market. Josh joins Anteo from DiaSorin Inc, where he was Corporate Director of Scientific Affairs. There he oversaw product development and provided leadership to marketing and sales. In this role Josh was also required to strategically evaluate new technologies & novel biomarker collaboration and licensing opportunities.

Josh has a strong technical background and is considered a subject matter expert in solid phase chemistry and assay development. He is the principle inventor of 2 key patents in IVD, and he has authored and presented numerous publications and presentations at scientific and industry conferences.
