Key Management Position Appointment

24 August 2021 – Melbourne, Australia – Ansell Limited (ASX:ANN) today announces the appointment of Mr Rikard Froberg to the role of President, Industrial Global Business Unit (IGBU) effective 1 September 2021 succeeding Mr Neil Salmon who, as previously announced, will assume the role of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on that same date.

Mr Froberg joined Ansell in 2010 as VP Corporate M&A and Strategy in the corporate office in New Jersey, USA. In this role he led Ansell’s global M&A work and the annual corporate strategic planning process. In 2013, he took on the role of VP Finance, Business Development and Emerging Markets for the IGBU, with a focus on growing the industrial business in emerging markets globally, including the development of Edge as a global brand.

In July 2017, Mr Froberg was appointed Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer for EMEA/APAC region, based in Brussels, Belgium and has led the EMEA/APAC sales teams and regional sales support functions to significant success in executing on Ansell’s growth strategy in both mature and emerging markets. In the interim Mr Froberg will retain his EMEA/APAC role whilst the resourcing process for his current position is finalised and will relocate back to New Jersey.

Mr Froberg holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden and a Master of Arts in Financial Mathematics from Columbia University in New York.
