Ansell Limited appoints an additional Non-executive Director
Ansell Limited (ASX: ANN), announced today that Mrs Annie Lo will join the Ansell Board with effect from 1 January 2013.
Mrs Lo’s appointment follows an international search commissioned by Ansell in consideration of its Board succession planning program and to further augment the skills and business experience of the current Board.
Mrs Lo’s most recent role was Chief Financial Officer of Johnson & Johnson’s Worldwide Consumer and Personal Care Group. Mrs Lo retired from this role in late 2011, having spent over 20 years in executive roles with Johnson & Johnson. Mrs Lo who was born in Hong Kong and educated in Taiwan and the United States of America, has significant experience in directing business expansion across the Asia Pacific region and globally as well as in managing healthcare business challenges and regulatory processes.
In announcing the new appointment, Ansell’s Chairman, Glenn Barnes said “We are delighted that Annie Lo has agreed to join the Ansell Board. Annie’s business experience and her strong and diversified background in finance, developing markets, business integration and medical devices will further strengthen our Board and complement our existing expertise as we pursue our global growth objectives, both organically and by way of acquisition”.
