Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc (AEP.L) which owns operates and develops plantations in Indonesia and Malaysia, announces that the Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Drs. Kanaka Puradiredja, whose term of contract expires on 31 July 2013, as Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 August 2013.  All positions held by Drs. Kanaka in the Board Committees would also cease accordingly with effect from 1 August 2013.

The Board wishes to thank Drs. Kanaka for his contribution to the Company and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jonathan Law Ngee Song as Chairman of Remuneration Committee in place of Drs. Kanaka with effect from 1 August 2013.
