Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Andromeda Metals Limited (ASX Code: ADN, Andromeda, the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Zannes as Chief Financial Officer for the Company.

Michael is a qualified accountant with over 20 years experience in the mining industry and possesses an extensive background and knowledge gained from managing operational and corporate finance functions within resource companies both in Australia and internationally. This includes significant experience in the areas of financial reporting and analysis, tax, treasury, systems design and implementation, purchasing and logistics, and business improvement.

Michael has previously held various commercial roles with New Gold Inc., an international mining organisation listed on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges, which included Company Director and Secretary for New Gold’s Australian divisions. He also held the role of General Manager of Australian operations for Peak Gold Mines based in Cobar NSW, which was sold by New Gold Inc. to Aurelia Metals Limited in 2018.

Michael spent almost 5 years from 2009 working with Whitehaven Coal Limited, an ASX listed company, as Divisional Commercial Manager where he established the commercial and financial functions for Whitehaven open-cut operations and which included greenfield development sites. In addition, he previously worked with Xstrata Copper in business development establishing finance and commercial functions for the project development division.

The experience Michael brings to Andromeda will prove to be invaluable as the Company moves towards establishing mining operations at the Great White Kaolin Project early next year.

With the creation of this new CFO role, Mr Nick Harding will continue as Executive Director and Company Secretary for the Company but with his focus now to be directed towards the areas of corporate governance, shareholder relations and business development, which are functions demanding increased attention as Andromeda continues to expand and evolve.
