Annette Malm Justad, chairman of the board of directors in American Shipping

Company ASA (the "Company"), has today executed an internal reorganization of

the ownership to her shares in the Company. Alama AS, a company controlled by

Justad, has sold 4,523 shares in the Company to her wholly owned company

Homlungen AS at a purchase price of NOK 28.95 per share.

Following this transaction, Annette Malm Justad still holds, through her wholly

owned company Homlungen AS, 4,523 shares in the Company, constituting 0,001 % of

the Company's shares and votes.
