AMP Limited ceases to be a substantial holder in AXA AP

AMP Limited today announced that its exclusivity agreement with AXA SA terminated on 6 February 2010.

As the agreement has terminated, AXA SA is no longer an associate of AMP and therefore AMP is no longer a substantial holder in AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited (AXA AP).

In accordance with section 671B of the Corporations Act, AMP attaches a Notice of ceasing to be a substantial holder in AXA AP.

AMP continues to consider its position in relation to AXA AP.
