Divestment of Infrastructure Debt platform completes

AMP Limited’s private markets business, Collimate Capital, today announces the completion of the sale of its infrastructure debt platform to Ares Holdings LP, a subsidiary of Ares Management Corporation (“Ares”) (NYSE: ARES).

The initial sale agreement, announced on 24 December 2021, was subject to customary conditions precedent, which have now been satisfied.

This transaction supports Collimate Capital’s strategic decision to focus on its key strength of managing equity investments in real estate and infrastructure, while also simplifying its structure and realising significant value from the proposed transaction to support the growth of these businesses.

Collimate Capital is the new name for the AMP Capital Private Markets business, which AMP Limited has announced it intends to demerge from the group in 1H 22.
