AMP announces redemption of AMP Subordinated Notes 2 (ASX: AMPHA)
AMP Limited (ASX: AMP) (AMP) today announces that it will redeem all of its $325 million AMP Subordinated Notes 2 (Notes) on their first optional Redemption Date of 18 December 2018.
In accordance with the Note Terms, AMP may elect to redeem some or all of the Notes from 18 December 2018, subject to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority’s (APRA) prior written approval. The redemption has been approved by APRA.
Holders who are on the register on 10 December 2018 will be entitled to receive the face value of A$100.00 per Note plus the final interest payment of A$1.1397 per Note (together, Redemption Amount), subject to the Note Terms. The key dates in relation to the redemption are set out below.

Notice of Redemption of AMP Subordinated Notes 2 (ASX Code: AMPHA)
This notice is to inform you that AMP Limited ( AMP ) has elected to redeem all of its 3,250,000 AMP Subordinated Notes 2 issued on 18 December 2013 ( AMP Notes 2 ) on the first optional redemption date on 18 December 2018.
On 18 December 2018, each Holder of AMP Notes 2 on the register will be paid $100 and a final interest payment of $1.1397 for each AMP Notes 2 held on 10 December 2018, the Record Date for final payments. The interest payment is for the period from 18 September 2018 to (but excluding) 18 December 2018. Both payments are subject to the AMP Notes 2 Terms.
The last day of trading in AMP Notes 2 on the ASX is expected to be 6 December 2018.
This ASX announcement constitutes notice of the Redemption of AMP Notes 2 in accordance with the AMP Notes 2 Terms.
Attached for the purpose of ASX Listing Rule 3.17.1 is a copy of the letter/email being sent to Holders of AMP Notes 2 today.

This notice is to inform you that AMP Limited ( AMP ) has elected to redeem all of its AMP Subordinated Notes 2 (ASX Code: AMPHA) issued on 18 December 2013.
If you hold AMP Subordinated Notes 2 on 10 December 2018 (record date), you will be paid $100 (face value) and a final interest payment of $1.1397 for each AMP Subordinated Notes 2 held. This payment will be credited to your nominated bank account on 18 December 2018. The interest payment is for the period from 18 September 2018 to (but excluding) 18 December 2018. Both payments are subject to the AMP Subordinated Notes 2 Terms.
The last day of trading in AMP Subordinated Notes 2 on the ASX is expected to be 6 December 2018.
