AMP Limited announces changes to Company Secretary

AMP has today announced that Kate Gordon, AMP’s Head of Corporate Governance, has been appointed as Company Secretary of AMP Limited, effective 4 March 2022.

Ms Gordon joined AMP as Senior Company Secretary & Senior Legal Counsel in June 2020. Ms Gordon has significant experience in the legal profession with expertise in corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, corporate and commercial law. Before joining AMP, Ms Gordon worked at Henry Davis York (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and HWL Ebsworth Lawyers.

David Cullen, AMP’s Group General Counsel, has also been appointed as Company Secretary of AMP Limited, effective 4 March 2022.

Mr Cullen joined AMP in September 2004 and was appointed Group General Counsel in May 2018. Mr Cullen has group-wide responsibility for AMP’s legal and governance functions. Prior to his appointment as Group General Counsel, Mr Cullen was the Group Company Secretary and General Counsel, Governance at AMP, which included acting as Company Secretary for AMP Limited.

Following the above appointments, Marissa Bendyk will cease to hold the role of Company Secretary of AMP Limited, effective 4 March 2022.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 12.6, Mr Cullen will be the person responsible for communications with ASX.
