AMP appoints Deputy CFO/Group Treasurer
AMP Limited has appointed Colin Storrie as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Group Treasurer effective 27 January 2011. He will report directly to AMP Chief Financial Officer Paul Leaming.
Mr Storrie was most recently Chief Financial Officer for Qantas and served on its board. He departed Qantas earlier this year after holding a variety of senior management roles during his 13 years with the airline.
“We are very pleased Colin is joining the AMP team. He has an outstanding reputation as a strong and disciplined financial manager and his highly regarded skills will be of significant benefit to the AMP business,” AMP Chief Financial Officer Mr Leaming said.
Prior to Qantas, Mr Storrie held finance and accounting roles in investment banking and the NSW Government.
Mr Storrie has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong, a Graduate Diploma in Management from AGSM University of NSW, is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
