John Astbury retires from AMP Board of Directors

AMP Limited today announced the retirement of non-executive director John Astbury.

Mr Astbury was appointed to the AMP Limited Board in September 2004 and his retirement comes into effect on 31 October 2007.

“The AMP Board thanks Mr Astbury for the valuable contribution he has made to the company over the past three years. We wish him all the best with his future endeavours,” said AMP Limited Chairman, Peter Mason.

Mr Astbury also resigned as Director of subsidiary AMP Life Limited on 30 September 2007.
