AML3D’S US TECHNOLOGY CENTRE OPEN AND OPERATIONAL WITH PLANS TO EXPAND

HIGHLIGHTS

• AML3D’s technology centre at Stow, Ohio open and in production with one ARCEMY industrial metal 3D printing systems on site, and second to be installed in January 25.

• Plans to more than double capacity at the Stow facility with the installation of up to 2 additional ARCEMY systems are progressing.

• AML3D has already delivered ~A$16 million of US contracts[1] ahead of an expected surge in US Defence spending[2] on additive manufacturing.

• AML3D’s US manufacturing capability also supports new opportunities to expand into the US Energy and Defence Aerospace sectors.

AML3D Limited (ASX:AL3) (" AML3D " or " the Company ") is pleased to announce the Company’s US technology centre at Stow, Ohio (‘ Stow ’) is now fully operational. Stow combines AML3D USA Inc’s headquarters with a modern purpose-built manufacturing hub that has excellent logistics and transport links. Stow is currently equipped with an ARCEMY advanced additive manufacturing systems designed to metal 3D print industrial scale parts and components for our growing list of US and international customers, with a second one to be installed early in calendar year 2025.

The Stow manufacturing hub is already operational and working on an initial A$2.27 million order from the Tennessee Valley Authority, the largest public utility in the USA[3] . This inaugural order supports AML3D’s plans to invest an additional A$12 million to more than double capacity at Stow with the installation of up to 2 additional ARCEMY systems. The expansion of Stow is to meet an expected step change in US Department of Defense spending on advanced additive manufacturing solutions to support the US Navy’s Submarine Industrial Base. The increase in capacity at Stow will also allow AML3D to continue its expansion into the wider US Energy and Defense Aerospace sectors.

AML3D’s US ‘Scale up’ strategy, launched in early CY2023, has already delivered over A$16 million of contract wins. The opening of Stow, with plans to rapidly expand manufacturing in the US, is expected to improve AML3D’s ability to, quickly and effectively, meet US customers’ needs and accelerate the US “Scale up” strategy. Under the leadership of Pete Goumas, President of US Operations, Stow is the base for AML3D’s direct sales, administration and technical teams in the US, which will leverage the existing and planned US manufacturing capacity to accelerate growth.

US based manufacturing is also a pre-requisite for accessing lucrative contracts restricted by the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (‘ ITAR contracts’ ) and other US only controlled information Defence contracts. AML3D has Manufacturing License Agreements in place to support the US Navy

and Boeing which included compliance with US Government regulations that support access to ITAR contracts. AML3D’s US manufacturing hub will also position the Company to take advantage of the expected policies of the new Trump administration to support US based manufacturing.

AML3D CEO Sean Ebert said: “The opening of our US manufacturing hub and, just as importantly, our plans to more than double its capacity are important next steps in our US ‘Scale up’ strategy. The huge demand we have already experienced in the US has translated to over A$16 million of contracts, for the most part serviced from our Australian manufacturing hub. Building substantial manufacturing capability in the US to meet expectations of a more than 10-fold increase in US defence spending on advanced additive manufacturing, in particular to support the US Navy’s submarine industrial base, will allow us to be way more effective in meeting our existing and new US customers’ needs.

“Our expanding US manufacturing footprint also frees up capacity at our Australian facility that we can use to support a roll out of our US playbook in other significant global defence markets with a focus on AUKUS partners, Australia and the UK. We already have runs on the board with recent contract wins to support the Australian Government’s Defence Science and Technology Group[45] . The roll out of our “Scale up’ playbook in Europe is at an earlier stage but we are directing funds from our recent capital raise to establish and ARCEMY system in Europe[6] to take advantage of the demand signals we are seeing in the UK in particular, which are similar to those that supported our move into the US market.”
