Temporary Suspension of Share Trading

Amigo Holdings PLC (LSE: AMGO), a leading provider of guarantor loans in the UK, announces a temporary suspension of share trading.

The Court sanctioning hearing for the Company's proposed Scheme of Arrangement (the 'Scheme'), announced on 25 January 2021, will be held on 19 May 2021. In light of the limited capacity of attendees at the public hearing, there is the possibility for asymmetric information in the market should significant market sensitive information be released during the Court hearing, before the Company has time to update the whole market. Accordingly, the Board has requested the listing in ordinary shares be suspended and as such that trading in the Company's ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange be suspended with immediate effect. Pending an announcement of the Court hearing's outcome, the Company will request the suspension be lifted.
