Notification regarding French certification

Amiad (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that its French subsidiary company (the "Subsidiary") has been notified about issues with the certification used to confirm compliance of certain products ("Products"), sold by the Subsidiary in France, with the French Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire (ACS) standard, which is the safety standard required in France for products and equipment that come in contact with drinking water. The Products are produced and supplied in full compliance with all relevant safety standards and are certified by NSF International, the US-based Public Health and Safety Organization.

Amiad has initiated an urgent investigation into the matter and instructed the Subsidiary to ensure it has the requisite ACS certification for the relevant Products. The Company is assessing the potential implications of this issue and will announce further details in due course.
