PDMR Exercise of Options, Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights

Amiad (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that, on 30 December 2019, two persons discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMR) of the Company exercised options over a total of 9,636 ordinary shares in Amiad of NIS 0.5 each ("Ordinary Shares") under the Company's Employee Share Option Plan 2012 as follows:

Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the 9,636 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Application will also be made for the admission to trading of, in aggregate, 29,323 Ordinary Shares previously issued and allotted by the Company in relation to the exercise of share options by certain former employees under the Company's Employee Share Option Plan 2012 and for which an application had not been made to the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission will become effective and dealings in the new Ordinary Shares will commence on or around 8 January 2020. The new Ordinary Shares shall rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in the Company. 

Following admission of the 38,959 new Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 22,698,743 Ordinary Shares with voting rights and that figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
