Director share purchase

Amiad (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that it has received notification, today, that on 14 October 2016, Mr. Amos Shalev, a non-executive director of the Company, acquired 7,500 ordinary shares of 0.5 NIS each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 142 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following the transaction, Mr. Shalev has an interest in 10,750 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.05% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. Mr. Shalev is also the Chairman of the Board of Bermad Industries A.C.S. Ltd., which currently holds 2,038,443 Ordinary Shares representing 8.99% of the issued share capital of the Company.
