Result of EGM and Director Appointment

Amiad (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed, including the resolutions to re-elect Mr Derek Zissman and appointing Mr Arie Schor as statutory external non-executive directors of the Company.

Eli Opper, Chairman of Amiad, said: "We are delighted to welcome Arie Schor as an external director on the Board of Amiad. We look forward to benefiting from his extensive experience in leading global manufacturing-based businesses as well as continuing to receive the excellent support of Derek Zissman. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Simon Olswang, who will retire as a director on 31 March 2018, for all his hard work on behalf of Amiad. Simon joined the Board nine years ago and has made an outstanding contribution to the Company's development since then."
